Welcome to the Shoreham Inn, located in the beautiful Champlain Valley where apple orchards and dairy farms abound. This quaint country inn has been welcoming travelers for over 200 years! We look forward to having you as our guest.

 

The Inn offers 7 uniquely decorated guest rooms with private baths in the main house. A renovated sheep barn has 3 modern loft-style suites, each with its own private entrance, a bedroom, a separate sitting room, and a small kitchenette.

 

The pub located on the first floor of the main house is currently closed. However, the bar is currently open to inn guests at this time.

Things to Do

Shoreham is situated between Lake Champlain and the Green Mountain Forest, providing plenty of opportunies for hiking, biking, bird watching, fishing, and more.

Mount Independence is about 20 minutes from the Inn, where you can learn about Vermont's role in the American Revolution and enjoy some light hiking.

The Moosalamoo National Recreation Area, which covers almost 16,000 acres, is not far from the inn. Their online site offers interactive maps to help you plan your day.

Ticonderoga, NY is just a ferry ride away in the summer, where you can visit Fort Ticonderoga, and the Star Trek Museum.

Beautiful gem with lovely owners. Rooms are immaculate and the breakfast is delicious (they make homemade scones and muffins...warm...out of the oven...yep). Will definitely go back for a peaceful getaway!

It was our first bed-and-breakfast experience and we are pleased with the positive experience we had at Shoreham Inn. The innkeepers obviously take pride in their place and you can see in the cleanliness and the little touches which make you feel like you are being take care of. Breakfast was so good; we can't stop talking about the strawberry scones and the French toast were the winners!!! Thank you, Kevin and Scott, for the wonderful cooking and hospitality

Our stay at the Shoreham Inn far exceeded our expectations! Our room (Junior Suite, however they call it the Orchard Room) was really comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was homemade every morning with juice, tea, coffee and ice water. Innkeepers Kevin and Scott and their server Michelle are friendly, welcoming and ready to help in any way they can, whether for suggestions and directions to restaurants or to nearby sightseeing adventures. We highly recommend the Shoreham Inn to anyone visiting the Shoreham, VT or Ticonderoga, NY area!

A treat of an Inn
This was a treat of an Inn along our Autumn leaf trail. The place was easy to find, the hoteliers were friendly and very welcoming. Our room was comfortable, and the bathroom was attached to our room. Many of these old Inns were not built this way. Breakfast was delicious. Only a couple of negatives. We got there late, and if you do, stop and eat prior to getting there. The closest restaurant was 10-ish minutes away, and they were closing by the time we got there at 8pm. Also, the ferry to Fort Ticonderoga was already closed for the year, so we had to take the long way around. Neither of these are in their control. But check your schedules ahead of time. If I am back in the area, I will be only looking at staying there.
